Sketching

Hey everybody! Today is going to be about sketching.

Sketching is usually a pencil drawing. Mostly drawn quickly. Sketching does help to get inspiration for art. Human/cartoon sketches are pretty common.

Anime vs. realism

Hey everyone! I just figured that I should write another post... About anime vs. realism.

Realism is, well, humans. Or things in real life. So this could be called anime vs. human. Sounds funny, huh?

I have a hard time drawing humans. There is just always something off in proportions. I rather love drawing manga. Cartoons are easier to draw.

Sooner or later, I will do a video for cartooning.

Sorry for the short post. Just started a new blog.

Dream art

To you, it might sound funny. But alot of artists out there get their inspiration from dreams. I think it's beautiful. I got a painting inspiration from thinking of a cotton candy Popsicle. What I am trying to say is that if you have a fantastic dream, draw it, write about it, think it, or do whatever you want with it. Sadly, my dreams are pretty far-fetched. Like being the last survivor on a cruise boat attack. Oh my dreams...

Also to tell you all, the weather is just like today. But not as hot when you have an icy treat. I even got a sunburn on my shoulders. But anyways, dreams are, to me, a thing that I always wonder about. Like how do they happen?

Well, dreams are from things you remember. They can even not be things you've seen. These things are stored in your brain, and when you sleep, random memories/things make up the storyline of your dream.

 Cool? I think yes.

 Bye now!

How to draw: Anime eye

Hello! The weather is so beautiful today. The sun is shining, birds singing, blazing heat. It feels like summer even though it is only spring.

But we're not here to talk about the weather. We are here to talk about anime eyes.

Anime eyes are the most important part of the face. They bring so much life into it. You can always look up "anime eye" on Google or something. There are tons of possibilities. If you want to see one way than you can check out my YouTube channel: mspaperwait. (no period).

The way that I draw anime eyes is very simple. Just like, a line and a circle. ^ - ^

You can try many different designs. Have fun and good luck.

Art inspiration

If you do not have any art inspiration... Then why should you make art at all?

That is a very important question. Alot of people out there ask this. I did once, and it was a big mistake. I went quite a bit of time without drawing.

The color wheel

Hey everyone! This post is going to be about the color wheel. If you do not know, the color wheel is a wheel that shows what colors complement each other and such.

Markers 101

When it comes to bringing my drawings to life with color, I very often choose markers. They make everything pop from the page and when used properly, can look very realistic.

Choose your marker.

How to shade your art

Surprisingly, a while ago I didn't know how to properly shade. But I learned very quickly. It just takes a little practice.
First of all, for practice I drew spheres. It made it easier for me to learn because I had the shadow on the sphere as well as the drop shadow.
